We encourage all guests to review our lodge policies before booking to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay. Becoming familiar with these guidelines helps you plan your visit with confidence and allows us to provide the best possible experience during your time at Legends Bed & Breakfast.
Check-In / Check-Out
- Check-in: Not before 2:00 PM
- Check-out: By 11:00 AM
Occupancy, Rates & Fees
- All rooms are priced at
single occupancy.
- An additional
$25 per night applies for each additional guest, including children.
- Pets: Allowed in
Room 6 only for an additional
$35 per night.
- Any additional charges will be applied prior to checkout.
Power Outage Policy
In the event of a power outage, power must be continuously out for a full 24 hours before a refund will be considered. Short-term outages, weather-related interruptions, or utility issues lasting less than 24 hours do not qualify for a refund.
Fishing & Activity Disclaimer
Fishing conditions and outcomes vary and are beyond our control. Refunds will not be issued due to unsuccessful fishing trips or lack of fish caught. All fishing and outdoor activities are undertaken at the guest’s own discretion and risk.
Licenses & Guest Responsibility
- Any activity requiring a license must have the appropriate license presented prior to participation.
- Fishing licenses may be purchased online at
CT.GOV/DEEP by selecting fishing.
- All activities are participated in
at your own risk.
Smoking Policy
- Legends Bed & Breakfast is a
non-smoking property.
- Smoking is permitted
outdoors only, with consideration of non-smoking guests.
- Please use ashtrays and
never leave a lit cigarette or cigar unattended.
Kitchen Use
- Room guests may not use the stove or oven.
- Full Lodge Rentals are permitted to use the stove and oven.
Food Allergy Notice
Kitchen equipment has been used to prepare foods containing nuts. Nuts may also be ingredients in foods offered at the lodge.
Cleaning Fee
A one-time deep cleaning / room sterilization surcharge applies per stay:
- Room rentals: $15.00
- Full Lodge rentals: $75.00
Cancellation Policy
- No charge for room or lodge cancellations with
at least 30 days’ notice.
- Cancellations made with
less than 30 days’ notice will be charged the
full rental fee, including all guests and applicable taxes.
- No-shows are responsible for full payment.
- If a canceled reservation is re-rented, reimbursement will be issued accordingly.
- No exceptions.
