Had a fabulous relaxing Birthday weekend at Legends with my husband. Room 2 with the Fireplace, Deck and Huge bathtub was amazing, very romantic... Can't thank you all for greatest hospitality. Breakfast was very tasty. Absolutely loved Miss Honey, Brookie and Nookie (aka who I called "Frankie" from MIB. Lol. Miss them all already. Can't wait to come back again. I have absolutely no complaints.. Thank you Sal & Erin for opening Legends and allowing people to share such a wonderful experience. Even if we did absolutely no fishing. Lol. And Heather the Best!!!!

Our stay was wonderful at Legends. Although not there for sporting activities and just an overnight stay, the accommodations were great. Large rooms and bathrooms, wonderful luxury cabin like interior to the to the house and amazing scenery. Only thing better was the courtesy of Sal first thing on Saturday morning, before his coffee, to help me jump my car cause an idiot like me leaves the light on in his car all night. Not only that, when I booked the room I booked a King, arrived and received a pair of twin beds and without asking or complaining Sal and Erin noticed the issue and it was corrected. Amazing!!! Will stay here again when in the area.

Found this place online while looking for showplace to stay after a show nearby at Infinity Music Hall. We had decided to stay two days this time around as it was our third trip here for shows from five hours away. We are sooo glad we did! Absolutely gorgeous! We have never stayed anywhere so beautiful and peaceful, especially for such an amazing rate! You come and go as you please and the multiple decks make it so easy to have your own space. We enjoyed gazing at the river, listening to and watching the chickens, and admiring all the butterflies in the flower garden. We also hiked area parks. We got the suite for just a few dollars more and we wanted to move in and never leave! Fishermen will love it, but you certainly don’t have to fish to enjoy its beauty and peace. Read a book, listen to music, enjoy a glass of wine. Just unwind and breathe!!! ♥️♥️♥️

Absolutely wonderful stay and gorgeous inn!! The pictures don’t do this place justice. Talk about a hidden treasure. Sal and Erin are great hosts! Stumbled on Legends looking for a hotel with decent reviews. Cross checked reviews on TripAdvisor and Google and so glad we stayed. Noticed it backed up to a river and thought just maybe they do fly fishing!? Didn’t know the Farmington River is a world class trout River. Had a great fly fishing teacher, Zach. Sal and Erin list teachers on their website. We stayed in Rooms 1 & 2. This place didn’t disappoint!! It’s a beautiful, relaxing Inn. Great coffee and breakfast!! We had a 6am fishing lesson, Sal made sure that we had breakfast before we left at 5:30am. Thanks so much for accommodating us!! Enjoyed learning about the land and the different vegetables Sal and Erin harvest. The town is cute too! We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful stay visiting our family in CT. This is a great BnB. Prices are very reasonable and the scenery is phenomanol. The owners are great people. Could not have asked for a better experience….even though we are not fly fishers…..which seems to be exceptional on this portion of the Farmington River. Do not hesitate to book a stay.

What a beautiful B&B on the Farmington River. We enjoyed the spacious suite and private balcony. Dave went out on the river every morning, afternoon and evening. We also golfed and walked and hiked the trails. There is so much to do in this scenic area. Thank you very much for your hospitality and delicious breakfasts!

Wow! What a great place! I can't say enough about the beauty of the lodge or the Farmington river. I spent a few days here with some friends learning how to fly fish. From the minute I walked in the door my stress just disappeared. Thanks for being great hosts and creating this space! I will be coming back! ROR.

This was the best trip ever. So peaceful and relaxing getting the line wet in an amazing fishery. The setting is picturesque and the lodge is an anglers dream. Thank you to my wife for my anniversary gift and Sal for being a great host.

OMG this is a beautiful place. Large rooms spotless lodge with real character and a river in the back with superb trout fishing. Sal & Erin were just terrific. Will be going back very soon. Ideal for the avid angler or for someone just looking to relax and see the beauty of Northern Connecticut.

As others have indicated, Legends is not just for sportsmen! Our family met there to see my husband off on his quest to through-hike the Appalachian Trail. Met the most interesting people at the inn, and Erin and Sal were delightful hosts. Just wish we'd had more time to enjoy the beautiful home and surroundings!

I stayed at Legends with Sal & Erin for a couple months while on a work assignment in area. A beautiful lodge and unmatched location made my limited downtime that much more enjoyable. So much better than the normal hotel experience and would most definitely stay again rather work or pleasure!

The fishing in this stretch of the Farmington River is beyond compare. The accommodations are world class. Come to fish, hunt or just chill out. You will not be disappointed.

Enjoyed 4 days here when we went to CT for a wedding. Day 1 was the B & B experience and breakfast was scrumptious. The next few days we had the whole lodge and it was a wonderful time for the family. Erin & Sal are gracious hosts. We would recommend this establishment to all!

HIGHLY recommend this lodge. its a fisherman's paradise. Sal and Erin are awesome people who have a love and respect of the land and river. i was up here with two buddies and we all felt the same.

More then what I had expected, Legends is stunning the care and details that went into the design of the building and the rooms are amazing. Sal is an amazing host which tops off a fantastic get-away with views that will stop you in your tracks. A must stay for any avid fisherman, hunter, hiker or to just get away on a cozy vacation.
